Grandt Line have announced they are closing down.

BIG NEWS…After 60 plus years in the hobby industry, the Grandts are calling it quits.Thank you to all of you for your friendship and patronage over the years…we will certainly miss visiting with you and hearing about your amazing projects! We hope to shut the doors in June …..but will accept new orders through May 1, 2018.  After that, we will sell only stock on hand.

DANG IT. I couldn't count the number of products I'd bought from them in the past few years.
I guess I need to stock up on door and window castings...

That is sad news indeed, but times change and the Grandts have been at it for a while.
I will also need to stock up on a lot of my favorite parts while I can.

I'll need to stock up on their parts also.

Who else can we go to for O or 1/35 scale windows?

Maybe someone will buy the Grandt Line?

Sorry to hear this news...I have used Grandt Line parts since the 1970's and have built several of their nice kits. I have a stock of GL O scale windows, etc. which look fine in 1:35 scale. matter of fact, my little Model T rail truck is powered by a Grandt "Micro-Mo" gearhead motor.
Thanks for the memories...and all the great parts. Grandt Line will be missed.

This is sad news, but nature hates vacuums. Someone will fill the space left by Grandt Line sooner or later.

GRANDT line has been purchased by a newly formed company

"San Juan Models" based in Colorado.

Will likely be a while before products are available, move
is set for Sept.
