Mike, thank you very much.

Si, you're very kind, thank you. I used two Walthers 62' LPG
tankers spliced together to achieve the correct length. The correct diameter was reached by wrapping .010 styrene in sections, which also gave the seams.I used .006 wire for the weld lines. I used resin for the ends and trucks. I had a copy of the original plans someone got from Dupont. I'll
Post the finished car soon.

Regards, Bobby

Hi Bobby,Thanks for the reply. Screwdrivers??? That is so simple an idea I'd forgot you could do fine work like that with screwdrivers when they are not used as screwdrivers  :bow::bow:. Who needs expensive bending jigs??
I'm looking forward to the finished tanker appearing here. No pressure ;)
Congrats again & thanks,

John, simple is good! Sometimes I go over my shoulder to scratch my behind, but I usually do it the easy way. LOL
Paint soon.

Those trucks are impressive. Definitely some ambitious scratchbuilding!

Thank you. The trucks were a learning process that's for sure.
