I tried to add any detail I could see to the model.
It started out as a black Athearn shell.
The OMI drive was for the RPP C40-8.
It was an easy fit, and had the correct hanging air tanks as opposed to the bottom mounted on the production model.
Another difference is the dynamic brake inlets and exhaust.
The demonstrators had three of each, production model two.

Thanks for looking----Bobby

Hi Bobby

Fantastic loco ! :thumb:

I've always loved the Union Pacific colour-scheme. :)

No idea quite HOW you put those teeny weeny lil' decals ? on there.

It looks awesome though !!

A question for you Bobby. L:

Not about the loco, but about tools.

Do you have any favourite magnifier-devices for working on the fiddly bits ?

I have various eye-glasses, 1.25x & 3.5x diopter glasses, magnifiers & a desk magnifier lamp.

What do you find most useful ? ???

Or maybe you're 20 years old & have perfect sight ! ;)

I did once !

Thank you Si,

I'm glad you like. I too love the UP colour scheme.
I have an Option Visor x5. I also use with it a pair of glasses that are a bit stronger than my regular pair.
No, I'll be 74 my next birthday. When I hit 40, my arms became to short!

Regards, Bobby

Nice loco!. Almost smells like the real thing!.
About glasses, I have a set of Optivisors that I wear as a last resource. Hate that you totally lose depth of field perception.
Jose.
