Sometimes you are very bussy wanting to do something but real life wakes you up and reminds you the silence inside where every true happyness has it's roots, far from our poor silly will...

Those are not going to be the final colors and there are plenty of further details coming yet. But I couldn't wait until 20 October when I'll be able to buy the airbrush paint so I played a bit with rests of spraycans ...

Yes, I hear all that blue foam screaming that I have to go ahead with the Chateau scene ... L: ... I think a good reason to let vehicles wait until 20 October has caught me now ... Hmm ... O.K. ( ... and I had just found half a can of primer...!!! ... :us: ...)

I’m enjoying your vehicles Daniel, it’s great fun to look up the streets and see them peeping round the buildings. Makes me wish I could jump into the screen. Hope your backs feeling better?

Allen

Hi Allen

Yes, thank you. I am indeed feeling better. The pain remains still the same but after so much pain I thought being too quiet couldn't help so today I went downstairs(#~%&*#@ !!!), took my bicycle and made 25km. That really helped. Now it huirts still a lot but only when I sit down or stand up. The worse is leaving my bed in the morning or the couch after seeing the news but ... Well, you have plenty of experience with pain too so you know how these things go.

Great that you enjoy my chaotic almost braille modeling.

You can't jump into the screen but you can jump to Amsterdam, of course.

I am going to post in a moment photos of the half done truck but tomorrow will try to get back to modeling the scene around the 'chateau'. That way I will keep Mr. Wallet tranquile until 20th of the month. So further vehicles work is going to be set on wait.

Have a nice good NOW, dear friend.

Daniel

So that was, for the time being, the vehicles 'repair shop'.
Tomorrow -depen ding on the direction of the winds- work on the layout rear left area will be resumed and I will try to keep my nose in that direction until I get my next payment (I hope the 19th otherwise will be the 22th) so I can buy paint, putty, Plastruct weld-it and other really necessary stuff and if I'm lucky, a second hand back that doesn't hurt. :us:

Daniel, are these iron fence and gates parts commercial offerings or are you scratch building them? I haven't been able to find anything like them in 1/2" scale.

The iron fences and gates in the photo where made, as you see in following photos, using the black 3D printed strips with the holes and styrene rods.

The ones in the photo are not exactly the same but made the same way.(Sorry, I think the photos in the photo you quote are among the ones in my old Flickr which I can not access anymore. I will see if I find some).

Of course, you can make the strips yourself, if you have the eyes for it and the patience. I have none of both so must find another way.
I used styrene rod because is easier and healthier to glue with MEK or even the said poisonous 'Plastruct Weld-It' than ACC or soldering, but one can, of course, also use brass or still rod.
