Hi guy's been a long time sine I last went on here.
I originally started on free rails with my on30 railroad Rayley Creek which I gave up and sold off due to kids, space required whilst the house work was being carried out. Now near to the end of it all (thank God) I'm starting to look at a new project.
I have moved to the other end of the scale line with N gauge, H0 was great in detail, running etc. But evening a minor branch line required just that little extra space than I had to offer with no future expansions being possible.
N gauge locos and rolling stock have improved massively over the past few years, especially us brits with the like of Graham Fairish.
At first I was going down the route of modelling the Wabash route, rolling stock wasn't to bad but team locos or getting hold of transfers to rename was not so great especially here in the UK.
My layout had to be a corn route and after watching the Red Oak Build from a railroad magazine and seeing what was on offer on the market and a bit of researching on the actually railway I settled for this railroad.
Please bare with me as I haven't done this for a few year now and will try and upload a few track planes and pictures.
A few pictures of the full size track plan, the beginnings of the baseboards and two weathered locos, though the F3A is on sale as not required.
OK how do you uploads pictures larger than stated below from photo bucket, I've forgotten 😝
