I've recently completed another two little projects - one Mechanical Horse and trailer -
a small 3 ton capacity 3-wheel tractor and trailer affair that were very common in our cities from the thirties to the sixties,
and also a 14mm gauge 'steam' crane to help with duties on 'Denton Brook'.

Both are fully functional, and run off a single lipo (each).
The Mechanical Horse has a flat 650mAh battery under the trailer bed, which gives a two-day exhibition duration,
and the Steam Crane has a 1000mAh battery, which gives it a one day exhibition duration.

Incidentally,
I know one can use MOSFETs with the 60 series DelTang Rxs,
but can one use the same ones (or are there suitable ones...) for use with the Rx41?

Best
Giles

Hi Giles,

The Rx41 has two FET outputs.

But if you wish to utilize the P outputs,
David Theunissen (principal DelTang) recommends an N channel logic level, with an Rds < 100 milli-Ohms and a Vgs < 3 Volts.

I used the IRF3706 but they are quite large.
This one may be suitable for small locations, DMN2020LSN.
I have yet to test it.
