More of the roof supports are added to the sides.

Thin strips line the window openings to give a 3D effect.

Final detailing will include filling and sanding cracks and small openings.

This cab was to be part of a small saddle tank steamer,

the project was not completed.

Health issues have forced me to return to Gn15 vehicles.

I found some old fuel tanks in a bag of parts,
they are sized about right for Model T gas tanks.

I'll need to cut out about a half inch of width,
and put on a fuel cap of some sort.

Thanks for looking, Dave L.

Today I searched the net for more signs to add to my collection.
If you've never gone to Google Image Search give it a try.

If you are modeling a specific era include the date in your search.
I search for "Signs 1935" since that is the date I model.

I also search by decade as well.
"Signs 1900s, 1910s, 1920s," etc.

If I find one I like, I hit "save image as" and put it into a general folder,
or a specific folder like "restaurant signs" or "gasoline/garage signs."

As I will only use for my personal projects, there is no (c) copyright infringement.

Regards, Dave L.

Before the internet I used to snip any ads or photos of actual signs and put them on pages in notebooks.

If I needed a sign for use on the layout I would photocopy it from the collection.
