From Bachmann web pages,

NWSL will be closing at the end of August 2019.

Orders being taken for the time being, so do not wait!.

Apparently due to family reason's.

Offers for business will be considered.

That's a huge loss.

Wonder what we all will do with our failing models if nobody steps in and continues the business.

Have just ordered $500 worth of trolley, Shay + Climax gears online.

Update on NWSL.

The company has been purchased by a former employee,
and is being relocated to Kila Montana.

Web page still used.

Plan is to fill present orders first,
and then proceed from there.

What great news - and complimenting Grandt Line's acquisition by San Juan Model Company.

Nice to see parts suppliers not going out of business completely, even though principals retire!

Yes, great news indeed.
I do however miss the lack of telephone support.
I like to talk to a real person about what is available in stock,
Grandt and PSC and NWSL offered this for many years.
I guess they got rid of their phones.

Nothing worse for me than ordering something off "de net",
and getting a "sorry, that part is outta stock".
I'd like to know before I try to order something.
I know that I am a dinosaur,
unwashed in the ways of today's business.

Oh well!

Loco pops a rivet...
it goes into an unmarked junk box or gets set out on the layout with weeds & more junk.
But I still like "human contact" rather than some unknown circuitry in some computer.

Now I would like to hear somebody continuing Hollywood Foundry from down under...

But I am afraid, this is cold coffee.
