Hi All,

Hoping you might be able to help me trouble shoot a problem I'm having,
with the RC system on my F-scale Bachmann Connie that I got from RCS-RC.com

I have an Omega 3V5 with Program BV1, Rx102 v(110)AB, and RCS Tx7 about 6 years ago.

At that time, everything worked great, and then had to store them,
until just recently tested them, as I'm building an outdoor RR.

I am able to bind the Tx7 with the Rx102,
but it does not respond or enter programming mode when I hold the programming button down on startup.

I have a DelTang Tx21 transmitter, that binds with the Rx102, and it will enter programming mode.

The problem while using the Tx21 is the direction doesn't work.

I've assumed it's a problem with channel-3 and I've messed around with the adjustments for that;
high side, low side, neutral and reverse, but can not get the direction to work reliably.

After making adjustments, the direction switch will sometimes work once,
and then be stuck in forward or reverse, depending on the adjustments I made to channel-3.

Thanks,

Patrick

Hello Patrick.

I have replied to your direct E-mail on Sunday morning.
You might want to check your Spam file to see if that is where the E-mail reply went.

I doubt it is Ch-#3 at fault.

If a DelTang based Tx handpiece such as the Tx7 you have is left switched ON,
eventually the battery will go flat, and take the centering on Ch-#1 with it.

If Ch-#1 centering is lost, the OMEGA ESC cannot switch itself on.

The E-mail reply I sent on Sunday, contains the information on how to reset the centering on Ch-#1.

Tony,

Thanks for the reply, you were most helpful in the past with setting this up.

I didn't see a reply to my email so I posted here,
but I do see it in my junk folder now and should be able to try your solutions tomorrow.

Thanks again,

Patrick
