Forgot to set the DC mode off.

This is what happens when you remove power from the track.

Funny  :P

Quite logical.

When CV29 bit2 is set,
the decoder checks the input for DC-level,
when there is no DCC signal.

As the DC input is zero,
the motor power signal is set to zero accordingly,
and stops the loco.

Hi Paul

How are the 'DIY Keep Alive' experiments going ? ...  :brill:

... & of course your  C   L  layout !  ???

Anyone else got any 'Keep Alive' news or DIY experiments to share ?  L:

Nice work on the DIY camera-mount by the way Doug !  :thumb:  :dt:

Couldn't be simpler ... That particular camera does look darn small & conveniently housed !

Looks like a nuclear-waste flask ^^ in among all the Updah logging junkque !   :shades:

Of course ... I like the HO 'Tri-ang' Weltrol conversion to On30 the most !!  :old dude:

Thanks Si.

I knew it was a Triang Welltrol,
but I can't claim any credit for the conversion to On30,
by splitting, widening and planking the beast.

It was done by a chap who regularly turns these out on ebay,
for between £15 and £20 depending on how many bidders there are,
and I got mine at the cheap end as the only bidder on the day.

I couldn't have done the job for the price myself and anyway,
not really being a Triang fan - ducks quickly for cover! - I had other fish to fry!
