Hi,

Is there a good online tutorial on weathering steam locomotives with acrylics, both brush and airbrush?

And a good book or magazine article would be acceptable.

I ask because I am having problems with acrylics adhering to plastic......

I didn't have any problems using Vallejo brand brush acrylics,

to paint the plastic shell of a Bachmann On30 2-6-0.

Perhaps your mixture is too watery?

Hi Tim,

A good way to get acrylics to stick is to go over the model with a quick shot of flat clear coat, or dull coat.
