Hello, just wanted to sign in and make sure any photos I posted are still active on site.

While I have not done any modeling for several years due to a botched eye operation,
I am thankful for being one of the early members of this Forum,
and enjoyed many years of posting and chat sessions.

Not only here but on my own former modeling forum Trackside Modeler.
I turned it off after Andy's passing,
my lack of knowledge to operate the forum, and a declining membership interest,
that was understandable as few young folks had any interest in anything but video games.

A big thanks to Dave D, Rich, Mad Mike, Don M. (sorry, I don't remember everyones log in names)
and several others I enjoyed the company of in the model railroad community,
through the years going back to the early Shamus AMR days.

I still have a bit of a layout, a huge roundhouse, and many un-built kits,
and projects I would like to work on, even if under a mag viewer, one day.

Keep up the great modeling and thanks again for keeping the Freerails forum active.

Jim (Steammodeler)

Howdy James, I remember you.
I joined in 2007 or so, and have been pestering these pages ever since.

If you used PhotoBucket as a photo host, then there may be a bit of hassle,
many of my early photos are either not available or poor quality,
with some PhotoBucket logo scrawled across them.

I will check to see if your threads and photos are still here, they probably are.
Welcome back...

It doesn't matter if you win or lose, its' how you rig the game.

Inexpensive Chassis & HO Brass Rebuilding

We dont recommend using 2nd rate photo hosts like PhotoBucket Flickr or Imgur etc.

For photos to stay with a thread and load ultra fast from our high speed server

Always upload your threads modeling photos directly to Freerails

Forget about PhotoBucket and all the other photo cowboys

Your photos will just disappear sooner or later
