Hi Rod,

From my experience with H0 and 0n30 drives for Gn15,
the best choice for good crawl speed behavior on the one hand,
and low motor noise on the other, is to use 60 Hz.

So test if the motor runs smoothly with it. 

But as experience is the best teacher,
you should also test the other frequencies,
to see, and especially hear, the differences.

Hi Rod,

It will depend, amongst other things, on the type of motor.

A traditional cored motor,
will probably work better with a low frequency, 60 Hz as Juergen says.

Whereas a coreless motor,
would probably work better with a high frequency, say 700 Hz.
