Thank you for the link.

It's the same spirit as Fiddletown & Copperopolis!

Hi,

I have done little progress because I'm very busy.

I have finished the track laying, electricity, and I have motorised the turnouts.

Hi,

I have installed the backdrop definitely.

The buildings are in place.
I have to do the side and the rear of each building.

Hi Franck  :cb:

Great to see the progress on your NEW layout !  :mex:

Doesn't look like you'll catch many fish at 'Nugget Gulch' though.  :us:

Maybe cactus growing & fermenting, is a local industry ?  ;)

I do like the 'vibe' & I'm a big fan, and modest collector, of vintage 'Timpo' 1:32 Wild West !  :P

:cb:  I guess you might have seen a lot of 'Saturday Morning Westerns' as well !  L:

I'll spare you the photos of the Covered Wagon & Horse Team ...

... & the renegade Indian Camp with CANOES !

Oh ... There's the County Jail as well.  :P

( all works well with my Ford GT40s & Ferrari slot-cars )

L   K i n '   C   L   Franck  !

YEEEEEEEE  HHHHAAAAAAWWWWWWWW  !!!!!!!!  :old dude:

Hi,

It's reminded me of my collection  (that I still have)

of Britain's figures  (far west, sudist, WW2, ...)  which scale is more or less 1/32

I have very good souvenirs of it.

I have nearly finished the building.

I try to balance between what we expect in model railroading and strip cartoon.

I'm quite happy with the final result,
except for the roof of the church, railways station and barn.

I don't know if I have to change the color or the material
(replace the wood by corrugated roof or by shingle).

If you have any idea,
I will be happy to share me your opinion.

Hi Franck

It's  L   King  very  C   L

I guess to retain the comic-book look & style,  :cb:

Kinda 'block colours', with little or no weathering ?  L:

The town might have been built very quickly,  :time:

as the railroad laid tracks through the area.

I think the quite bright building colours are great to see.  :P

Yes, I think you have to paint the barn, to make a new roof look.

Thank you for the idea.

For the roof of the church, railways station, school  and barn,
I will do it with tar-paper Roof and corrugated roof.

For the the corrugated roof, I had to wait to order an etched product.
