Howdy

A few last shots of the setting for the Hose Co. building...

Kinda based on the original idea, without placing the side door higher,
like the actual building this is based on.

So here you see posting and big beam that supports the building as the land goes down,
plus little concrete wall for the driveway.

It needs some scenery work, but kinda a good detail I think...
I like the tall skinny supports...

So now I'm just waiting for the fire engine,

and so is Sparky the firehouse dog.

A closer look at Sparky,

that engine is on the way.

I've got some ideas about the group of buildings,

and thinking a track should run down parallel and next to the street.

So...little Jordan kit arrived and here it appears...

Sparky is pleased, now if I just had a volunteer fireman.

A bit more of the details to add, I forget how lovely these little kits were...

I really wish someone would pick up the Jordan line.

A tricky build, but they make really nice little models.

cheers

Howdy

Here's the back of the saloon, now I got wiring run and added the stove pipe.
I changed all this from the kit because of the slope etc...

Wanted a back dock for the bar and a way to utilize the other door in back.
So here's where I'm at.

Still need to  add a railing on the landing and a few more details,
but it's coming together now.
