This is film of a local railway owned and run by a guy I worked with in Leeds in the UK.
Sadly he died a few years ago and the railway closed.


Kirkstall Abbey is a large church ruin just outside Leeds.

It was actually used as a backdrop for a US military school based movie.
I cannot remember the movie, but it must have been a parade,
as there were queries as to why a load of US military had turned up at the abbey.

They were extras for this movie.


Stock is 2' narrow gauge mainly acquired from water reservoirs and quarries,
although many were actually originally used in military supply depots.
