That IS cool!

Bob when you say manual....do you mean you will just turn it by hand or will you
be installing a control through the facia like a slider bar?

Interesting.............Bob, what is the Total Length of your turntable?? (4" drain I know but does it total 5" completed? )

I take it this will handle Porters only? Maybe some speeders etc?

Its interesting because i have aprox 16" Depth i'll be dealing with for my Diorama's. Youve Included Quite a few buildings into this small area (albeit small buildings ;) )

Its going to be fun watching this one develop!! :)

And Leave your MOTHER Out of this one!!! :D :D :D

Dave, right now I’m just going to move it by hand. The white piece is stationary. The drain was originally a snug fit. I worked on it for awhile and now it moves freely.

Todd, total width is about 4 ½-inches. It will only hold one piece of rolling stock, either an engine or a car. You can use the turntable to run around a car but you need two different engines to do that. Since the track plan is simple that makes it more interesting to operate.

My MOTHER is not the one we need to worry about, it’s my MOTHER-IN-LAW!!! Maybe I’ll name one of the buildings after her…

I printed a full sized copy of the track plan to see how things were working out.

It looks pretty good.

Hey Trebor, nice looking little setup. The boxcars, are they kits or scratch? I built some that look almost identical to go with my porters using a bobber caboose frame. The turntable is great for a little backwoods outfit! Thanks for the pics.
