I’m glad you were able to find a copy of the book-in Sweden of all places. When I wrote the book, I initially tried to keep the politics and violence out of it, but, the railroads and mining companies were heavily involved in politics and the Mexican Revolution. Really a fascinating ( and violent) chapter of history, it makes the American Civil War look tame in comparison.
I am still writing about mining and to a lesser degree railroads, but the reports I work on are archaeology reports that are not available to the public. I don’t believe anyone actually reads them, so it is always good to hear that people are reading the Silver City and Sonora books.
