Clif That is beautiful. I wish I had stuff that looked that good. Some of my buildings have that look now, but it's because they have been outside for over a year. I would love to see more photos of this, and others you would share with us. Woodie |

![]() Wish I could take credit for this but it is a friends sons work. These are from a layout that was custom built for a guy in Denver. Here are a few more pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The engine is a Mountain Models K-36. The engine has DCC, sound, and lights. The layout is 11 feet long and 30 inches wide. I can only take credit for 3 of the structures. The water tower, the LaJara Potato Co-Op, and the Hermosa Creek bridge. The adobe runs is made out of blue foam, sticks from his bushes. Colorado dirt and rocks, covered with slurry coat of hydrocal, painted with Apple Barrel acrylic paints. ![]() Clif K |

That is outstanding work ! One of the best features, is that he took the space to make the switches #8 (looks like), instead of trying to get a couple inches more track, by going sharper. I remember the bridge, and the potato place. Outstanding work, congratulations to both of you ! Herb ![]() |

Wow, that is nice. Great job on the backdrop painting too ! How big is the layout total ? It looks fairly small from these photos. But it could only be a small part. |
