Hey Tony,
That really is a nice layout you have going there. I am quite impressed that you can do that with HO scale.
I'd like to point out something if you don't mind. Someone probably should have told you this a few years ago, but it isn't polite to hi-jack someone else's thread. I want to let sleeping dogs lay, obviously the person whose thread you took over hasn't logged on in years, so it's not a huge problem as far as I can see. But for future reference, starting your own thread would be much better than taking over someone else's topic.
That said, it really is a nice railway and I hope you're having fun with it. Good luck to you!

Just don't go to an airport or bus station here in the US, see your buddy Jack, and holler "Hi Jack!"...That will get you shot or maybe 30 years in the hole! Just call him "James" or "John"...

Hello Tony, very traditional H0 indoors and 1:24th scale outside, all the 24th if battery power radio control, I have been converting some H0 to BPRC using Deltang for indoors. I won't worry about H0 outdoors, I have enough work to do on the 24th out there!

Hi Wayne, good to hear from a member from STH OZ, I will check out your thread in both scales.

I thought of switching over to 0 scale but too far involved in HO scale now and on budget, but I do have an old Hornby 0 scale clock work tank steamy and it will get a new lease of life.
The plan is to add on a coach like the Coffee Pot in SA and power the bogie to battery power, my train club has a very good garden railway in at least three gauges and most of those members use battery power.
Aiming to have my outdoor layout up and running buy Christmas or just after Christmas depending if I need more ply, be asking for Bunning Boucher's. I haven't decided which way to go on a bridge to fill the large gap on the back of the layout, would like to have a modern double deck bridge like the Oresund bridge between Denmark and Sweden be only building the main span which is a cable stay bridge be in four sections.
Tony from SEQLD, cool morning 9 degrees, rain coming in tomorrow.
