I see a Renault Dauphine - first year 1956,
Citroen DS - first year 1955.
So maybe late Fifties ?

I believe that the (red) part of the line in the photo
was actually closed down, in perhaps 1965 ?
after a new tunnel was opened in 1958 ?

Monaco, has the 3rd shortest 'railway system' in the World.
Monaco - 1.7 Km
Lesotho - 1.6 Km
Vatican - 0.3 Km
Canada, interestingly,
has the Worlds most railway Km per head of population.
Runners up. in that category, are Sweden 2nd & Australia 3rd.

The line belonged to and was operated by SNCF, opened in 1868,
and sported two stations, namely Monte Carlo and Monaco.
The first tunnel, leading to lifting of the tracks and demolition
of the station building of Monte Carlo in 1968, was opened in 1958.
In 1999, another tunnel made Monaco station obsolete,
and it was razed immediately.
Now there is Monte Carlo/Monaco underground station
(shown in green on the map).

Most probably it's Collioure in French Catalania,
not so far from the Spanish border.
