This use to run at the Lewis and Clark Caverns in Montana.

A WWII Jeep covered over with some sheet metal.

I recall riding that line, before the jeep was Streamlined.
 

There was also an incline,

which lifted you from the end of track to the cave entrance.

I guess they just left the cockpit on ...  :shocked:

... since it avoids having to re-wire all the controls for the jet-engine !  :mex:

Atlas also made a HO scale Turbo Express I think in the 1960s. 

It looks like they used a frame similar to Athearn's Hustler,
with a propeller instead of the rubber band drive, and a new sleek body.

Would be a fun project to do.  Should be easy to put RC in it.
