I recall riding that line, before the jeep was Streamlined.
There was also an incline,
which lifted you from the end of track to the cave entrance.

Atlas also made a HO scale Turbo Express I think in the 1960s.
It looks like they used a frame similar to Athearn's Hustler,
with a propeller instead of the rubber band drive, and a new sleek body.
Would be a fun project to do. Should be easy to put RC in it.

Not sure how this ended up on the T.E.E. 7" Single cover ?
I believe 'Marklin' made a small number of HO models of it
