Thanks, and that's not all of it.

There are three-abreast pages on that wall, nine total,
but you can't see them unless that door is completely open.

And I've run out of space for all my articles.
I think I quit counting at a dozen...

I finished my Quonset Hut project over the weekend,
with full interior and lighting.

It's replaced the Nissen hut,
which really wasn't accurate for stateside WW2.

The front has the usual names sign for the chain of command.

"J Stuart" is my nephew's first and middle name
(he's also a real life Army Captain, just like I was before I got out).

"R Sayes" refers to one of my best friends,
and a real mentor for model trains.

off or on part of the way through the exposure ?

Those were cell phone shots.

I broke out the good camera and experimented
with shots of both the outside and the interior of the hut.

It worked to have the light on,
for just a couple of seconds on a 90-second exposure:

And of course I had to make a '40s-looking shot out of it:

I'm currently planning for a self-published book of photos
of my layout as if it were a real line.

It'll be similar in tone as the article I did for the Narrow Gauge Gazette,
as if I found notes and photos from a photographer, made in the 1940s.

The final chapter will have my layout track plan and notes presented
as if I made it based on the 'found' photos, and will mostly be verbiage.

I'm currently working on plans for some sketches of the imagined
(but never modelled) sections of the line that exist only in my own imagination.

They'll be used as 'found drawings from the area from the '40s,
made by the same person who took the photos (a fictional WW2 war correspondent
named after my grandfather, a character that made it into a DC comics WW2-themed
comic book a few years ago as thanks for my assistance on the historical research).

With everything else I have going on, it might be a while.

I need to do the sketches of the non-modelled sections of the layout,
and scenes I wish I'd had room to re-created, based on real ET&WNC locations.

I'm really looking forward to this as it'll include photos
nobody other than myself and a few close friends have seen before.

I'm very happy with how that cover shot worked out.
I submitted two for that article, and was hoping they'd use this one.

The editor recently emailed me,
saying he intends on using the other eventually for another issue
(the current issue has a cover, that isn't for any article inside the issue).

I have an article already submitted to Railroad Model Craftsman,
and I submitted a shot I really hope would make the cover,
as the layout profile usually gets the cover.

I even did a mockup of the shot, and sent it to the editor as a suggestion.
I was hoping it would get out in 2021, so maybe this year.
