I'm late to the party Scott, Welcome!
Nice work on the backdrop and the planning. I'll be watching.

Thanks Ken,

I've been working hard on the plan. I'm starting to worry I've bitten off or at least planned to bite off more than I can chew. I know a lot of people say start small, and just about the time I have myself convinced to do that someone else tells me go for your dream, so I have to laugh. I guess I'll keep plugging on the plan and see what I can learn from that process.

Dioramas sound like a good idea - I'm thinking about making a few of those to learn some modeling technique.

Hi Scott, I am late as well welcome to the forum, great idea is to muck around with some Dioramas before starting on you layout, what scale are you modelling, I must of missing further back.

Be looking forward to seeing you starting up a thread where we all are, Herb is right on I haven't completed my layout yet aiming for the first train to start rolling on the date I joined the forum, about April next year three years back.

My layout is a garden railroad design in HO scale, layout name is Camdale.
