Ian Holmes is a name I know too! Got the chance to see his St. Cloud switching layout (built in a week, if I remember). Everyone was watching the train do it's work on the little layout, probably because it was different from all the roundy-roundy show layouts people were used to. Wonder what he's up to these days, lost track of his blogs.

Ians website is still up last time I looked. I see his name on The Gnatterbox for Gn15 modellers and RMweb, both 🇬🇧 based I believe. Think I've seen his byline here too but I read so many forums it's hard to keep track!
