I'd be grateful if anyone can lead me to any articles/forum posts,
on building this now rare 1980s 1:45 scale plastic kit,
of the loco that ran on the Tokyo Disneyland railroad.
I'm sure I've seen something somewhere, but where I can't remember,
and of course I didn't have the presence of mind to save it at the time.
I had a bit of a nose on da net.
I'm sure persistence could pay off though.
( took me 6 months to find the schematics of a rare vintage valve amplifier )
Got the 'pack shot' though ...
That one sassy steamer !
In fact that item on eBay was what got me thinking along these lines,
and there's another one at more than twice the price!
They say that these are collectors' items,
but at those prices, I'm not that much of a collector!
I've also seen it suggested that as they are collectors' items,
they should be left in their box and not built!
What's the point of that?!
If I saw one at a reasonable cost (don't ask me what's reasonable!),
I might dive in as it's an attractive starting point for a scratch or bash build,
with maybe a Bachmann Porter chassis underneath,
although I've no idea of the wheelbase and diameter sizes of the kit.
