It's really a pity this thing may never hit the water...

I think you **might** cover the hull with some sort of thin fiberglass and sand it smooth,

however there is still great risk moisture may come inside and do irreparable damage.

Hi Corv8

Yeah pity, but may hit the water.

I haven't yet glued in place 2 mm card on the hull sides,
may use if I can get a hold of 1 mm ply, or use fibreglass,
and paint with water proof sealer, early days.

She is tended to be a water line model, all that work,
I still have to finish the stern ramps fit hydraulic ramps just for show,
do plan to motorise the ramps, got enough room to fit a motor gear box.

I have finely finished the starboard bridge wing window panels in place.

Need to make window sill on front inside and inside interior on the raised floor,
at the last two window panels there is a raised floor,
and a console going port side has to do with controlling the bow thrusters.

Ships captain just sent me wanted interior fitting port side and main console pics,
when I finish gluing in place the starboard side front window sill,
be a challenge pretty long, hope to make in one piece.

Going to a printer mob in Ipswich to see if they print out 3D-printing,
of the centre console, be awesome save all that detailing.

Taking a while to build the bridge, wont glue the comp deck in place,
will have the main radar mast on it and other fitting.

Tony on a high from a nice sunny Sunday, rain coming in all week tomorrow.

Hi Tony

The ship is looking good,
thanks for the pics you sent me.

As far as room goes,
you could fit my Suzuki Alto motor and gearbox in there,
well almost.

Just need pics of the ship going under your bridge,
with a 38 crossing it.

.....Peter.

Hi Peter

How are you going?

Many thanks, yeah the ships bridge is looking great, more work tonight,
continuing on from the starboard wing to the front of the bridges window panels.

Bad weather up here, heavy rain today and tomorrow and the rest of the week,
won't get a chance to set the bridge up with the Jutlandia Sea passing underneath it,
be awesome indeed.

Bonus the 3801 on the bridge, even better with 3801 crossing over the bridge,
will be a while off, hopefully June this year.

Co and side with my birthday money to buy a couple more boxes of track.

It is a good day to work on the ships bridge, can't do anything else.

Take care Tony
