The Hunt for Red October is one of my favourite books,
as is Rainbow Six, which I also heartily recommend.

Thanks for helping with my image issues.

Finding a decent image hosting site,
that doesn't want to fleece you for storage space,
appears to be impossible these days.

Thankfully, I've discovered that Freerails has a 'Gallery' feature !  :bg:

Progress -
I've only got a week to go, before the layout's first exhibition,
at Mansfield Model Railway Show.

So I've been cracking on to get it ready.
Mostly done, just a few odd jobs left to finish.

But I'm thankfully off work, as of 6 hours from now, until after the show,
so I've got plenty of time to get them all done.

I've toned the blue lighting used to simulate night time operations,
down to a much more subtle level, and I think it works quite well.

I'll let you all judge if you agree.  :)

Lastly, for now, I've been repainting and weathering a Bachmann 44T switcher,
from ATSF black and silver, to something a little more generic - and rusty !  :)

Still a fair bit left to do on the frames and trucks, but I'm happy with it so far.  :)
