I rolled the tube and turned the ends on a lathe.

Very fine modeling.

When I first looked, I thought it was 1:48 or larger...
but then remembered that it is 1:87 scale!

You must have nerves of steel and eyes with built in magnifiers!

I am a recent convert to HO from 1/4" scale.

Looking at the level of detail (like the truck springs) and the precision of the fit,

there is just no other word for this level of work in that small a scale.

Now I just need to get my printer to work.

It hasn't been used in a while.
