Busy week but did make a little progress and added some more details to the project.
After trying lights inside the building I knew I would have to black it out or come up with a way to finish the interior walls.
So like a crazy person I decided to cover walls with some heavy paper I found in a paper sampler I had from years back.
It was a nice depot kind of wall cover and I have been doing a bit of papercraft, primitive but effective I think...
This shows the upper outside wall once I put window boxes in and placed the pieces against the interior bracing.
It makes for a rather fat wall but looks good I think. These aren't glued in yet just trying them out.

So this is downstairs at a different angle...
Cardstock and Ellen's tacky glue and the interior has a good finish,
and light penetration is mostly taken care of.
I still cant quite figure out wall placement and also how stairs might work,
so that's the next thing to build.
I really just try and get"good enough" representations for interiors,
so at least when lighted they look appropriate.
Photo is a bit dark and you can see some "Goop" on window edge,
but not much will be seen from outside.

I made up a little stairway,
after considering how it might work in the building I put it together.
Just some scrap bits of matte board and wood.
Funky but I wanted the interior to look logical and this seemed good...

Then upstairs I guessed where some walls might be and mocked up some doors.
This gives me some light blocking so you can't just see through the buildings...

And then here is the agents office added and the freight dock added and in position.
More of the corner trim on and wainscoting trims...
Time to finish shingling.
You can also see I sealed with paint between floors to hopefully prevent light leak,
as I get lights into the structure.

So I have finally got to roof and adding trusses, which are a lovely feature,
but I had a hell of a time getting them to work, fighting warping roof card etc.
Trying to replace acrylic paints with Floquil or another oil based product can be a pain,
should have sealed them before roofing and adding other detailing, rafter tails etc.
But here's a few shots of how far I've got.
