I'm fine with having it in the 'HO & OO Scale' Forum.

The engine house is a Revell plastic kit.

Here is another one on the Forum...  Revell Engine House

The railroad was the D&RGW,

although it didn't have anything in common with the real railroad of that name.

The engine house was originally scratchbuilt by John Allen mid-last century.

He wrote an article about it in an ancient Model Railroader.

Revell developed a plastic kit.

I want to join these 2 great photos of a mining part of the layout, together as a panorama.

But as my PhotoShop skills still don't exist !  I'll have to look at them 1 after the other !!

The aerial bucket ropeway, in forced perspective, coming from the small mountain mine,

is the best I remember seeing, of that concept, turned into reality !  Ace backscene also.

I could waffle on about the totally awesome Georgetown Loop steel trestle 'look a like',

or the several spar logging scenes, or the busy town & industry behind the Argo Mill,

or Clint Eastwood riding down Main St. in the 'wild west' town !  Or did I imagine that ?

Eddie

Tried to cobble both together... at first glance, looks not so bad.

Gerold

I think that is a great job of cobbling the two photos together.

Very nice splice of the photos.

On the real model R.R. there was a bridge between the two.

I never did like the curved rails on the bridge.
