Seems like the "News" on DelTang's site,
hasn't been updated in quite a while.

Anyone know what's going on ?
Is DelTang in the middle of designing new boards ?

I haven't been running trains that much lately,
too many other hobbies getting in the way.

Also, haven't had problems, except for needing a new battery in 1 loco,
all 24 of my DelTang equipped locos have been running fine.

Guess there's no need to post when all is well. :us:

Past 2 days I've been charging batteries,
last time they needed charging, was back in January of this year.

I've been wanting to experiment with trackside charging,
but with things running so smoothly I can't seem to get motivated,
plus a few health issues this year have got me laying low.

8mm kidney stone removed in May,
left bottom eyelid surgery to try and prevent excessive watering in June,
and a right shoulder replacement coming up August 18.

Should have been done in March but my A1c went from 7.5 to 10.5...
Too much fruit cake at Christmas !!  A1c is now down to 5.9 !!

This right shoulder replacement has me occupied right now,
not looking forward to it but I'll be 70 end of August,
and want to get it done before I'm too old to recover LOL !!

Funny thing is, I've taken up target shooting !!

Shoulder doesn't seem to be bothered much by the kick,
from my newly acquired Lee-Enfield, or my Romanian M44 Mosin,
but I do have recoil pads on them both.

:cb:  :thumb:

Even my golf swing has improved.

Shoulder has made me slow down my swing,
and I'm hitting the ball just as far and straighter than before,
but lack of play has destroyed my short game,
I've only played twice in the past year.

I can play 18 holes but my shoulder is sore for 2 days after.

So... What has everyone been up to ?
Any new projects ?

Anyone used a DelTang or other B.P.R.C. system,
to operate anything other than an engine ?

Hi Bob,

The whole thing seems pretty quiet.

But in response to your request, I have been working on some N scale T-TRAK modules:
two sets of doubles (ea 620mm) and two return loops using the very tight 216mm radius.

There are 9 Kato turnouts spread out on five of the boards,
operated via Rx105s and a Tx3, using half H bridges to reverse the D.C. current.

Traction control is via a Rx62b-22 feeding the track, and a Tx2.
Both transmitters housed in the same controller.

Geoff
