So I am sure many folks have built this kit but I wanted to show a couple of things I did with this and share some photos of it,so this is not meant to be a real full build thread. so first shot is completed up to roof and beginning of interior detailing.Cardstock walls cut around bracing and a few shades in at this point . So this is my roof as completed,I found this paper thin cedar bundle somewhere, 8x8 squares so cut "shakes" and glued them them on individually. The kit comes with the classic Cambell shingles but thought this really changed the look and may be a bit out of scale but kinda hip I think(roofing joke)I used real copper tape to make flashing and attempted to get that green patina look copper can get Attachment: TP 3 sm.jpeg (Downloaded 20 times) Last edited on Sat Dec 18th, 2021 10:05 pm by Mikel Parker

After going back and forth about whether to do a Winter scene I just did my usual minimal scenery for now to enable me to shoot some finish shots.Easy enough to dust snow on when I get it positioned on a layout,if appropriate.Got a few figures painted and beginning to add some details Attachment: TP Station 6 sm.jpeg (Downloaded 31 times) Last edited on Sat Dec 18th, 2021 10:24 pm by Mikel Parker

one more for the heck of it, before I added the signal casting.I probably will do some more weathering and put the track in next,No idea what the name of station is yet so signs will be added as I position this.Really a fun build and great craftsman kit.
