Next a overhead shot of the office and storage at the back of the structure.
You can see I'm adding lighting (we will see how that goes...)

One more shot inside.
Gotta love all those great Scale Structures castings.
I had to build a shelf for storage, and add some pegs
to the walls to hang shovels and brooms etc.

Nice build.
I like the details that you have added.
Keep going.

One more shot of the interior with lighting
ran before gluing exterior to floor.

So here's the front added,
with window in front set in.
A nice big area for a sign,
but not sure what I'll do about that.

Another angle with dock in place.
I setup a base
with some rock work and track work started.

With this you can see the dock and front roof in place.
On to aging the roof, plus adding the flashing,
to cover where the cover meets the walls.

One more shot,
with an added tree in the background I'm working on
(needs some more foliage I think)
I have no plans to add lights to the front and platform,
but sure could with the slot in false front
(an odd thing about the kit siding)
I do like the corbels and top cap casting,
really makes this a distinctive structure.

Thanks Steven,
I hope folks are interested.
These are challenging and a bit frustrating,
compared to more modern kit makers work.
But I love some of these designs,
and the castings are really good.
Here's the roof aging before the flashing is applied,
trying to get the old shingle look, but not decrepit.
A little dark but I shot a few views.

Here's the flashing pieces.
Real copper tape
from a roll someone gave me.
Not enough stickiness to hold,
but I usually put them on with Goo.

So here's the flashing on before touch up.
Kinda bright with patina effect.
But I will probably dull it up,
as I actually set building and dock in place.

A shot from the front left.
You can see the wiring hanging out in back,
which will get run as I finally set the structure etc.

One more view from the top.
Never sure what flashing would be colored, even though
I have studied the copper patina and colors for awhile.
Sometimes goes to a chocolate color,
but exposed like this would be,
seems like it usually is a pretty bright green.
I dunno I'll keep playing with it.
I want to dust things up with chalks as I get finished.
