Hi!
Finally the seafoam I ordered, arrived and I decided to test it by scratchbuild some birch trees.

I started with some fallen twigs:

Then spray painted them white and added the black bark pattern with a black pen.
Then I drilled small holes in the trunk and glued the seafoam on it:

Then I sprayed the seafoem with brown spray paint:

Then I sprayed it with glue and sprinkled on it the Noch leaves in two shades of green:

Thanks
And thanks for the link fix... seems that the forum doesn't autodetect the link, only if it's in a separate paragraph... Fixed it also in my post :)

Hi David,
Glad I could help,
link auto-detect wasn't even thought of when Frerrails got going. It's the equivalent of a steam-powered forum dodging TGV's, but hey we've survived somehow for so long.
Keeping the link on its own line is probably a good idea.

They would make suitable wattle trees for middle story wet schlerophyl forest in Australia.

Hi David,
A wet sclerophyll forest is a 3-layered forest and looks something like this, with big eucalypts (gum trees) forming the upper layer. This is about 10 minutes away from my front door.

And that's only a "small" gum tree in front of the car. The "big" ones can be 200' to 300' high.

Another photo? Here's what some of the middle layer looks like. I'm not sure if there are any wattles in amongst these trees.

I hope that these photos help,
